Le Meridien Munich is located centrally within two minutes walking distance of Munich main train station.
Getting to the hotel from the airport is incredibly easy. You can choose to take the train or, as I did, use the Lufthansa bus, which take about 40 minutes and costs around 10 euro each way.
The hotel is quite spacious and has a reasonable sized bar on the ground floor. While the bar itself may not be that big there is also a nice inner patio where you can sit outside and enjoy drinks up until 11pm.
Breakfast is served in the groundfloor restaurant and is buffet style with a good selection of both German style food, as well as the more international options.
The staff are pleasant to deal with and speak excellent English.
I’m not 100% sure what the normal prices are like, as I was on a special rate for my stay, but even with the discounted rate it was still on the high side and probably comparable in price to hotels in Brussels or other large European cities
